A tour that will allow you to discover two sides of Etna along ancient connecting roads, experiencing first-hand the history of places that were literally submerged by impressive lava flows.

Visiting the lava flow caves, breathtaking views, craters involved in spectacular eruptions and savoring the delicious flavors of typical local products.

All this allows you to discover Etna with the magic of the sunset.

We will understand together how this, or rather this, black “mountain” was born and the very close relationship that the inhabitants of the foothill areas have with Etna which became a world heritage site in 2013.

All this and more as we travel by car along the different points of interest.

The tour is particularly suitable for those who are not used to walking for a long time, thanks to the short walks we will take to see and touch the beauties of Etna.

After meeting at the meeting point, we will proceed in the direction of one of the slopes of the volcano.

Our guides will be particularly attentive in explaining the surrounding environment given the presence of several flows.

We will reach one of the “gates of Etna” which was almost swept away by a lava flow where we will discover the close relationship between man and “a muntagna”.

Before starting our ascent we will have a tasting of typical local products that will give flavor to our afternoon.

One of the most beautiful stops will be the view of the immense Valle del Bove which characterizes the eastern side of Etna. Here we will understand how Etna is so particular and how it was able to reach the present day.

Our next stop will be a visit to one of the beautiful lava flow caves present along all sides of the volcano. Here, equipped with helmets and lights, we will explore the meanders of a lava flow tunnel.

We will conclude everything with a visit to one of the lateral craters of the volcano, admiring its grandeur thanks to a simple and non-demanding walk along the entire edge of the crater.
